Best to save cooking gas!!
Sep 09, 2014 08:01 PM 188015 Views

Induction Cookers are basically good for those who stays in the hostels or may be as a paying guest because it does not need any cooking gas cylinder. Also they are more beneficial as they save the cooking gas. Now-a-days we know their are limits on the cylinders to be used by a single family. So majority of people are buying these Induction cookers.

I have a Phillips Induction Cooker and I have been using it from past 4 to 5 years. I have also got 2 utensils and a fry pan free, which is specifically used for induction cookers. But the disadvantage of these cookers is it uses a lot of electricity. Their are different modes on which we can operate Induction cooker like 800 watts, 1000 watts, 1600 watts maximum 3000 watts. But if we keep mode beyond 1600 watts, it will consume more power. So it is usually  advised to use Induction Cooker on a mode which is 1600 watts or less than that.  these days Induction cookers are available at different prices and particularly a rectangular shape. 3 to 4 years ago I took it for some 4500/- Now the prices may have gone down but it also depens on the company. I think Philips is good since I have been using it for past 4 to 5 years and it is still working without any complaints.
