On 30 May 2016, I booked Thyrocare for the AA1.3 test including Vitamin D & B12. Everything went well and the blood sample was collected on 4th June 2016. It was received by them on 5th June 2016 and also the report was released on 5th June. However when I shared the report with my family Doctor, He straightaway refused to review the Thyrocare report stating the report result was false. As per him, the blood sample should be processed with in 3 hours of collection and not 24 hrs after the collection since the result could be highly misleading.
My question to all is that who should I trust? Is the 3 hours requirement really stand good?
I'm confused and thinking to get test done again from a local lab in my area in Bangalore.
