I just thought I would take this opportunity to remind people of this classic by Dumas. An extremely enjoyable book for all ages. For the child in you, there are stories of battles and bravado.
For the more seasoned reader, there are higher concerns like political intrigues, love affairs, and spy thrills. Dumas weaves all these with consummate ease, taking the reader through a labyrinth of plots and a maze of emotions.
The story of the 3 musketeers and their friend would enamour anybody, such is the story telling prowess of Dumas. For a first time reader, it is recommended that he/she not think too much about some words or phrases which are beyond their understanding. There is no need to complicate one's thoughts, because the story line is flawless and flows beautifully. So, sit back and enjoy. Better than Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham anyday!!
