We went on a 10 Nights and 11 Days tour to Asia with Thomas Cook from 25th June to 4th June. It was a very well organized trip with activities and places catering to people across all age groups, starting from kids to adults. All our transfers, accommodations and arrangements were excellent and of superior quality. Food facility could have been a bit better with more Indian Vegetarian on menu. We had one tour leader for entire tour and a tour guide in each country we went to.
We were provided with a very friendly and helpful tour leader Zenia. Special thanks to her for keeping up patiently with all the nuisance of about 30 people on tour and for guiding us in the best way possible, giving us the required info of what to do, how to do, what to buy, where to bargain, and never leaving us behind even if we were late. She was friendly, cooperative and knowledgeable.
Pre tour participation from Thomas Cook's side in terms of visa arrangements and keeping the client up to date on the activities needs to be improved. Both my visa and travel coordinators were extremely poor and did minimal communication with me. Visa and travel coordinators - Rakesh Upreti, Nashib Sharma(Thomas Cook Gurgaon) . I had to escalate to the management and then Mr. Anirudha(Thomas Cook Gurgaon) was given the charge for my tour arrangements.
I almost did not want to travel with Thomas Cook looking at the behavior of the coordinators, but once I went on trip, everything was smooth sailing and exciting. So yes, I recommend to travel with Thomas Cook!
