We just travelled to uk and europe with thomas cook india for 15 days from 25th sept to 10 oct.
The trip was really good and we have managed to visit most of the main tourist attractions.
but its a uk-europe tour, and what we got only a single day in london, for a single day we took uk visa( we travelled for visa & pay visa fees) that is not at all worthy. atleast TC should give 2or 3 days in london
after booking and conversation with local thomas cook( bhilai) agent, we were actually disappointed with thomas cook.I would specifically like to mention the complete lack of professionalism of the booking agents, whose incompetence have led us to face a lot of problem. the worst experience was the starting, we booked our tour from mumbai, they told we will get a flight to london from mumbai, but what we got a domestic flight from mumbai to delhi and then delhi to london.then why we travelled to mumbai from raipur, ( we could travel from raipur to delhi instead)
it wasted our 1 day.and created a mess situation.
but the best thing thomas cook gave was our tour manager ABHISHEK ANAND.
who really took care of all the members and guided us very well, he really made the trip very easy and comfortable. his stories always made every stop much more interesting.the man deserve all the credits.three cheers for you abhishek
BREAKFAST- this is the point which should not be missed, we didnt get proper breakfast , not even a single, for vegeterains they had just bread butter. and 1 or 2 fruits.
in our complete 15 days tour we only had bread- butter & 1 fruit at max in breakfast.
overall tour was good thanks to abhishek
