I had the absolute WORST experience with this company.
I traveled from the USA to India on a work trip 17th Feb - 3rd March. I extended my trip for 1 week to tour the golden triangle. My driver was Umed. My colleague had requested an English speaking guide, and Umed was less than that.
I then met up with a friend in Delhi and Umed was extremely rude and angry that I had a friend along with me. I've been informed that this is due to the fact that Umed would have taken me places that he received compensation / a cut of anything I bought. This was shocking to me, as I'm a paying customer, I should be able to tell the guide where "I" want to go, not where the "driver" wants to go.
Next, we realized the car was near breaking down. The AC did NOT work and the car was old and bumpy. This made for an extremely UNpleasant ride to Agra(4 hours) and to Jaipur(4 hours). The car situation was completely unacceptable.
Again, Umed continued to be rude to us, to the point that we offered to buy him lunch in hopes of making him happy. We should NOT have had to do that.
Once we hit Jaipur, Umed solicited a guide to take me around, which I did not request. I told the guide that I wanted to meet some friends for lunch, but refused to take me. He wanted to take me to lunch at a place he would get a cut of what I purchased was was angry I was asking to meet my friends. Finally I was adamant they take me to meet my friends and finally, they obliged. The guide then requested I pay him, which I did, however should not have had to since I didn't request him. This is MY trip, and I am the one paying, if I want to meet my friends for lunch I should NOT have to argue with them to take me.
Finally, when I left Umed, I told him my flight back to Mumbai was at 8:30AM and that I wanted him to get me at 6:30AM. He said "no, 6:50AM". I said, "No- I would like you at my hotel at 6:30". He said ok. The next morning, I waited in the lobby but he did not show up. I figured I would give him until 6:50AM because that's when "HE" wanted to come. That time came and passed, still no Umed. Finally, the hotel concierge called him and said he was coming at 8:00AM. What?!?!? I ended up driving to the airport with another hotel guest to ensure I had a safe ride, as at this point I did NOT feel comfortable with Umed.
I would NOT recommend booking with this company.
