If you are interested in just a place to while the night away in ooty....this is not for you!

But if you are in the mood for a leisurely stay in ooty with a few days to spare...then this is just the place for you.

I and my wife found about this place from the net and mouthshut in particular. We went there in october this year. When you enter the place it gives u a inn like feel! But when we entered the room it took our breath away. We had a luxury room (Rs 1400 in season). Take that or the Super luxury room which comes with a private garden. You have a splendid view of ooty surrounded by clouds from the room and that itself is worth the moolah!

The service is good.. sometimes u might have to remind them once more though, especially for cabs! They also supply room heaters for a separate charge. The food is good but after a few times it gets repetitive. If you like chinese food you might have a go at Shinkows

Cabs take a little more when u call them to the hotel (Around 900). It will cost less if you walk down the hill.

Overall we had a very nice experience and faced no major problems.
