The year was 1962.The place a small one bedroom in Santacruz(west).At sharp 6.00am I wake up by the sound of a knock on the main door.Most of the time when my tea kettle was boiling and I knew it was TOI laying on the mosaic floor.It took 30 minutes to "glance" TOI, before I start my day, another 30 minutes reading in BEST’s A4Ltd, from Santacruz to Kalachowki in Lalbaugh was like body transfer on a time machine, as it went past like a flash.20 minutes during lunch, and one hour before Isleep, since on way back from work in the evening was in the local train where I had to fold myself like TOI. That was my schedule for TOI till 1998.
Now even if a kirana shop wrap groceries in a piece of TOI, I refuse to collect it.I am mentally more healthy even at the age of 65.TOI is like trash created by people who were born out of "greed" for money.
