I went for shopping at Shee Lathers at CP in New Delhi a week back. I found some people requesting (read insisting) customers to fill

out a small  form (I thought its a lucky draw arranged by Shree Lathers). Yesterday I got a phone call that I was one of the luckiest person – won for a valuable gift. And I got an address. It was Defence Colony - opp. of Kotla Timber Market, near South Ex, New Delhi. I went there to collect my gift. I was awaited for a long  time. I was called by a Sales person. We entered a room filled with some round glass table. An irritating music was playing non-stop which was a real example of cacophony. I believe that it’s a way of breaking your nervous system easily, so that they can convince  (read cheat ) you easily. They started talking about a product (bullshit) for a long time. It was about taking a lifetime membership of Country club including ownership of a Holiday inn, few holiday trips in India and abroad etc. They were trying to show how rich their company was. It was a hectic and tiresome job to listen that third-class-lecture for a long two hour. Sometimes,  a manager (read a crap) tried assisting the salesperson to convince me better, so that I could purchase the product. I was collapsed to flee from the place immediately, but they seemed reluctant to stop the speech. I asked me to give 1,60,000/- for the product and tried to convince me how wonderful and beneficial the holiday package product for me. The interesting thing was – they won’t allow you to think about it (pay the money immediately- at least sign the agreement immediately). When I disagreed and showing my reluctance to take it now –then the so-called manager humiliated me using abusive language (like apse baat karna to bekar hain etc). They were so aggressive and poor-mannered that sometimes I felt insecure as I carried my credit card. I filled out several feedback forms (they basically wanted to know if you were financially capable to waste your money or not). I went there by Auto and came back home by Auto. In that way, I wasted Rs. 300/ - and got a cheap quality bowl set as a gift (Market value not more than 100 backs).  It  was a really headache and bad experience and moreover a complete waste of my valuable weekend. I would like to request you guys (especially for them who worked hard to earn money) – Please don’t go there if you ever receive a phone call from them. God saved me this time. Who knows – you could be a victim.  Be cautious before it’s too late.
