We are in the same predicament. We have paid 1.75 lacs by chq towards membership in Jan, 07& site registration (Phase 15 after Tumkur) in Feb, 07. After they got our money,  the club is cooling their heels and shows no enthusiasm to fulfil their promise as they had while collecting money. When confronted, they just sit there like lameducks and shrug helplessley saying it "might" happen in the next six months. There is no gaurantee it might! Can anybody advice on the course of action to take? Who should be sued - the company or the MD? They are also mentioning about a cluse that says "non-refundable" in the application form .... !! Maybe, all the conned members should get together, form a forum & file a suite to recover our monies? We are sure there are many members out here in Bangalore who have been lured to take membership with the promise of giving land. Let us build a network & support system. Inputs appreciated.
