Dear Mouth Shut friends

I have paid money to the Country Club after regular pestering and harassment by the employees of the country club.i was promised a plot of land in their venture.i was getting regular calls to join their schemes offerred saying that one card will entitle me to all the clubs in Bangalore.After paying the money nobody responds to my calls.the marketing people do not entertain calls and even changed their numbers.i have not received my membership cards or the plot registered in my name ,the holiday packages are never offerred for one reason or the other.Iam running from pillar to post after paying the money.

I invite all those who want to join me in settling their grivences.I have already decided the plan of action to proceed against the company. irequest to post your reviews and i shall contact you all.

KINDLY LET ME KNOW WHO HAVE WON THE CASES AGAINST COUNTRY CLUB

Many cases have been filed against Country Club in consumer courts.

Some grieved persons:

Dr Aman Singh From Hyderabad (04066835111.,09246119111) states that Rs. 50,000 was withdrawn from his account without his knowledge.

Mr. A S Shivashankar of bangalore (080-65620323) was cheated by Country Club.

Mr. Naveen Rao of Secunderabad (9866023799, 040-27742795) was cheated of his money by Country Club.

Mr. Anjan informs  about a fraudulent transaction in  his HSBC Gold Card  for    about Rs. 60000/- by the Country Club in partnership with the bank.

Mr. M K Srinivas of Hyderabad (mksrinivas121965@yahoo.co.in)  was cheated of Rs. 75,000 by the Country Club.

Mr. Keneth Pinto (+44 - 7772548167) has avery bad experience and complains about the Country Club and their useles Coconut grove. He says "My plot of 1084 sq ft was first given in Coconut Groove Phase 1 and then they said it was not available, it was then pushed to Phase 2 and even that is not available. Every time I call they say registration willhappen in few months and this way almost 1.5 years have gone by. I have paid the complete amount of Rs 1 lakh followed by another Rs.10,000 for plot maintenance in Jan 2005. Till now there has been no communication or a hint of my plot being given to me."

Mr. Jalal (9886737263) as been a target of fake promises by the Country Club.

Mr. S. Nagaraj ( 99860-68572)   states that Country Club has  taken Rs.1,15,000/- through two creditCards (ICICI and HSBC) without  his confirmation and approval.

Mr. Vinayak Chitragar  (  9886-556226) was also cheated by the Country Club and has lost heavily.

Sabelu below asked some of these questions -

1. If they have a refund policy?
2. If they have a referral who have had a positive experience
3. Ask if they will take you to the

plot and identify your assigned plot
4. Ask if they will take money from one hand get the registration done at the same time
5. Ask them if they can take you to a local country club and give you a trial membership of 30 days so that you can visit all their local clubs in Bangalore

I too asked them (country Club representatives) some of these questions. Here are their responses

3. No, they cannot arrange for a site visit. Currently the plots are not demarketed as they are in the process of acquiring land from the owners. Also, the plot will take about 2 to 2.5 yrs to develop.
4. No, they do not have a registeration process between Amrutha Developers and the buyer. They only give a gift certificate. Meaning, to say that it is a gift for becoming the member. they are only too happy to take "cash". In this mode of payment, they will not give a reciept but will give a temporaty reciept and they will write a note saying that the plot/membership is complementary
5. The local club in mumbai is under renovation but will be ready in 2 months time.
