The Revenant is based on a true story of *Hugh Glass, * an american explorer who took part in many adventures.
It depicts the real saga of Glass, who was brutally mauled by a bear but was left unattended by his fellow hunters.
Yes, it is claimed that he was also ditched by a confidant. However, like true survivors; Hugh Glass not only revovered from this tragedy;but came back to life!
Well, he proved his mettle again as a tapper and adventurer.
The Revenant must also be watched for legendary Leonardo Di Capario who plays Hugh Glass. But, it also be watched for Tom Hardy the cunning confidant.
This movie has very powerful cinematography. It must also be lauded for superb direction by Alejandru G Inarritu, a mexican film maker.
