Story:

NIkita Singh is great Novel writer. I like many of her books. But at this time in The Promise she fails to create her magic. The title is impressive and attractive but the story does not have any sense. The novel sometimes disrupt its way and goes gratical or we can say filmy which is really disappointing. Those who read novel known very well that novel and film both are two different things. And some how novels are more interesting than films. But in this novel Nikita Singh miss the fence and mix drama with novel theme. Every chapter of the novel is fell like a filmy scene of 90's bollywood film.

The story was based on a creepy girl and serious guy who has lost his family and live alone in this world. The story reminds me a bollywood film "Jab we met". The novel story was fully based on love and romance. The girl comes in the lonely boy life and try to fill his life with happiness and finally they fall in love. To make the story interesting the write did her best and make the story full of creativity but finally the story feels like a drama or film. A novel should sound like a novel not as film.

So in my final verdict I said that Nikita Singh is a great writer but at this time she fail to get its readers.
