This book is simply gorgeous. It shows that everything is not as it seems and that even a 14 year old can have the depth and wisdom of an old man.
This book made me laugh, made me cry and also I feel I want to make a mixtape. The writing is very simple and you get attached to the characters quickly. Charlie talks about love and friendships in a very relatable way, which I found heartwarming. It's a quirky and fun book.
I saw the movie first and I really liked it, not because I loved the cast so much but because it was actually nice. Anyway, so I thought of buying the book. When I started reading it I couldn't stop myself. You'll get glued to it. It is very inspiring and it really touched my heart. Charlie is such an inspiration. After reading the book I realized that the movie didn't do justice to the book.
