A masterpiece by Amish Tripathi that definitely can be stated as the Lord of the Rings of India by depicting the story of Shiva in such a practical and beautiful manner. The book definitely keeps you involved from beginning till end and the story flows quite well.
However the time taken by Amish to depict the scenarios takes away quite a lot of part of the book and sometimes feel to be quite unnecessary given the part of the story that approaches. The thought behind depicting the story of Shiva remains quite clear where Amish tries to say the a person becomes God by his work and not by his name.
The book is an excellent art of depicting Indian Culture by stating every reason and taking care of every small detail while writing about it. Each and every thing in the book is described so clearly and beautifully that you can picturize the castles, forts, roads, walls, persons, ships etc with the help of mere words. The story flows in line and keeps the readers interested by placing the element of suspense at every point.
