The immortals of Meluha, is the first book in the Shiva trilogy authored by Amish Tripathi. The book as many of u may know is on the bench with the other bestsellers for past couple of years now. And the reason being, it totally deserves it. The book portrays The lord Shiva and some other of hi lord companions as simple human beings living a simple life. Now if it was just that it wouldn't have been a bestseller, Isn't it. The twist in the story-line is that this portray of gods as human lifeforms eventually somehow makes their life falls just in place and situations that exactly happened in the mythological tails with a slight twist,. U would find a lot of similarities like Shiva(The character) getting a blue neck. His marriage. And eventually the slightest of the details of the mythological tales can be found in the story line. Now I can't say much about the book without giving any spoilers and I wouldn't want to make your read boring. So if you like mythological tales, Indian history,Gods with a twist give it a try.
