Cut 1: Bombay 1960 - A struggling Musician Govind (Shahid Kapoor) boards a train from Poona, and he enters into a famous actress Rukhsar's (Priyanka Chopra) cabin. And both started liking each other. One lady named Maahi (Prachi Desai) who lives in the same guest-house where Govind booked a room started loving him, but coincidentally she is also the best friend of Rukhsar. Govind and Rukhsar falls in love with each other but the play ends up on a triangle, when all 3 went away.

Cut 2: England (Stratford upon Avon) 2012 - Meera (Neha Sharma) breaks up with his boyfriend Krish (Shahid Kapoor) on his birthday. He bumps into a student Radha (Priyanka Chopra), and both spend the day and night together enjoying. They started loving each other but Meera acts as vamp and comes in between both. Result: Radha went away from Krish.

Cut 3: Sargodha, Lahore 1910 - Javed (Shahid Kapoor) is a loafer kind of guy who use to see every possible beautiful girls, and one day he bumps into Aradhana (Priyanka Chopra) as he was running from British soldiers, and she save him from them. They both started liking each other but to impress Aradhana, Javed took part in a Morcha against ruling Britishers alongwith many other protestors. But when British soldiers lathicharged, he ran and hide. Aradhana started hating him since he's a coward, but he proves his worth and get arrested by hurting a British officer. He got into jail, where Aradhana use to come to see him. After 3 months when he came out from Jail, he founds out that Aradhana is married to someone else.

Last, but not least. By giving some speech and explaining his position all 3 Shahids successfully get his 3 Priyankas in the end.

So, this is 'Teri Meri Kahaani' written by the director and dialogue writer Kunal Kohli, you remember 'Fanaa', yes the same Kunal Kohli. He directed this movie well, and I loved the presentation of this movie. The best play out of 3 was the first one - Bombay 1960 act. He deliberately made the Bombay look like old films' set. In old movies, they use to shot on the sets and depict it as real outdoor locations, but here Kunal depicted like the movie is being made in the old movies' way, i.e. on the sets, and it was beautifully picturised. Well supported by Background score and Vrijesh Hirjee who brought the comic touch to it. It was to an extent shot in the 'Charlie Chaplin's' way, and Vrijesh looks funny as the secretly working reporter. His interaction with Shahid are awesome. One song came in the Bombay Act - 'Jabse mere dil ko uff', it was the best song of movie, wonderfully sung by Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan. It was picturised in the same pattern as the old songs were. Music was just perfect with the old feel. It was the shortest act and the most lovable act, and then you started feeling fear that if a movie started on a high note, it can only falls low. But the 2nd act of England holds it rightly. The chemistry of Shahid and Priyanka was brilliant, they too are so perfect with each other that you actually started liking watching them together. Both the actors are brilliant on their respective roles. The England Act was perfectly made to the present scenario where everybody use to text and chat more than the real talks, well supported by the two songs, especially the "That's all I really wanna do" sung by Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal. Both actors looked so flawlessly switched to the modern role, especially Shahid, that you can only say wow and imagined how different was they looking in the earlier act of 1960. The song "Mukhtsar" (Wajid) was also good to hear, a nice composition. And then just before interval you went to the third act of Lahore, which is the longest and the most boring act out of 3. You enjoy watching it but if you're served with Roshogulla first and then someone gives you Kadhai Paneer, then what would you do, obviously you don't like Kadhai Paneer after Roshogulla. It is also supported by 2 songs - 'Hamse Pyar karle tu', a qawwali type of song and 'Allah Jaane' sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Best part of this act was the shayaris, which Shahid delivers so flawlessly that you started comparing it with the Aamir Khan's Fanaa act. Other best part was the scene when Shahid hurt the British officer and got himself noticed in front of his love so that she thinks that he is not a waste or a coward but he too can do something. All songs were good, nice music compositions by Sajid-Wajid. Dances by Rekha, Chinni Prakash and Ahmed Khan suits to the mood of era shown and the tunes. Costumes too fit well. But then actually what was the story. I too am still thinking about it, and climax, Kunal mixes all the 3 acts well but when you get good at starting you wants good at the end as well, and climax was the worst part of movie, why? because there was no story, REMEMBER!! so, it just poofs out. One more good thing was movie was not a lengthy affair, it's just about 2 hrs including interval. CLAPS!! for that to Kunal.

So, I will recommend this movie as it is enjoyable, and you can watch it once, Kaash! Bombay act went little long, since I really enjoyed it, but no problem, I have now seen the movie and recommending it, Some other day I will again watch another movie and will write another review, I hope it will be much better than this. But as of now, My take for this one 3/5.
