It was a hit song and the most significant thing about this song was that the Rehman joined English and Hindi songs in middle of this song and that was the soul of this song. That’s why this song is here in my list. Beside that, it was also composed nicely.

7. Tu Hi Re... - Bombay
This song was written by Mehboob and sung by Chitra. In my opinion, again it is one of the greatest compositions of Rehman. This song was a soft melody.

8. Chhaiya..Chhaiyaa... - Dil Se
This song was written by Gulzaar and sung beautifully by Sukhvindar Singh. It was a Super-Super Hit song and it broke all the chart records.

9. Maa Tujhe Salaam... - Vande Matram
This song in my opinion is the best creation by the genius. It was a patriotic song and it was sung by Rehman himself. You, can often see this song on TV.

10. Yaai Re Yaai Re... - Rangeela
This song was also a great composition. Rehman took the full use of instruments. It was sung by Asha Bhonsle and picturized on Urmila. This song was the soul of the movie.
