Yesudas is a versatile singer whose quality of rendition which cannot be matched by anyone in the world. I am a Malayalee and I can write about hundreds of his beautiful songs in Malayalam. Yesudas has sung only very few Hindi songs. But I believe his Hindi songs are special. I could say that most of them are timeless masterpieces.
I don’t have any training in music. Whatever I suggest here belongs to my tastes. Please hear these songs as mp3 or cd of very high quality recordings. If you search deep you will find them as downloadable mp3(320 kpbs). Also hear them using a good audio system. I discourage hearing youtube videos of these songs as I find sound quality of same very poor.
In the following list I omit many classics(like Gori thera gaon, aaj se pehle, chand jai, dheere dheere, ka karo sajni, kaham se aye, to jo mir, nisa pa etc) as most of them are mentioned in other lists.

This majestic song is really long and for the entire 13 minutes you will be taken to an unknown world of ragas. A song very few can sing –only heavenly gifted can.
