Yesudas. this name itself directly relates us to his divine voice. which God has immensely showered upon him and he is perfectly carrying along.

The 10 best songs of Yesudas of my choice are:

1. Hari murali ravam.(Malayalam. Film:Aaram Thamburan)

This song has been a terrific composition by Late Ravindran, which had Hindustani touch, and it was sung with all soul, so that the music director fell down `saashtangam' on Yesudas's feet, after he completed singing the song!

1. Sangeethama amara salaabame.(Malayalam. Film: Sargam)

This song has excellent carnatic notes and it was sung with such an ease, as the song nears completion, he will take you to a very very special state of mind. You should listen with your eyes closed. You will feel them.

1. Brahma kamalam.(Malayalam. Film: Savitham)

This song has used his `gandarva' voice to the maximum. When he starts `brahma', it has all the baritone, which nobody has. A great one to be listened.

1. Kanne Kalaimaane.(Tamil. Film: Moondram Pirai, In Hindi: Sadma)

This song is such a  soft song, sung with all soul. This was the last composition of the great lyricist Kannadasan.

1. Amma endrenazhaikaatha.(Tamil. Film: Mannan)

This is another great one from Yesudas, sung about Mother. As usual, he has given his best and Illayaraja(composer of this song) had tears in his eyes when he completed the song recording.

1. Aarariro paadiyatharo.(Tamil. Film: Thaaykkoru thaalattu)

In this song, the song is played at the background, when an old hero's better half passes away. The feelings of that husband is sung with such an involvement, sure it will bring tears to our eyes too. Great work.

1. Gori thera .(Hindi. Film: Chitchor)

This song has such a variation in tune, and Yesudas has sung with all ease.

1. Kya karu saajini.(Hindi)

This song has the pain.

1. Dil ke thukede thukede kareke.(Hindi)

This song also has the sarcasm and pain, directed towards the lover, sung with ease.

1. Poove sembuve un vaasam varum.(Tamil)

This is a blend of carnatic and western composition(composer: Illayaraja).

This `gandarva' voice is irreplacable and incomparable. I am sure that all will accept this. In malayalam, he sings, but very selectively, which stands out from the rest of the albums everytime.
