Since I have done a few reviews in the past of the geniuses in our music industry, I decided that I must do one on this legend as well. For he was not just a singer, but an excellent music director as well. And so here I am with the intention of compiling some memorable numbers from this Genius. He is none other than Hemant Kumar. His voice was unique. So in no particular order here goes:

1) Yeh nayan dare dare: Kohra This magnificent song, is my most favorite from Hemant da. This song has been rendered just fabulously, and the music too has been given from the heart by hemant da. 5) Insaaf ki dagar pe:Ganga Jamuna. This is a patriotic song, which is quite catchy. The music was given by Naushad Sahab.

6) Jaag darde ishq: Anarkali This is a haunting song, a duet featuring Hemantda with Lata Mangeshkar. The lyrics are amazing, and so is the song.

9) teri duniya me rehne se-House no 42 A melancholic song this, but a good one 10) tum pukar lo - Khamoshi. What a song this. Has a haunting ring to it.
