List of my AR Rahman favorites. Review on Ten Best Songs of A.R. Rahman

First of all, I would like to wish my favorite music director - Happy Birthday! I have literally grown up listening to his songs. The voice, the  music is so soothing that it gives you peace. It feels like an injustice to list down only 10 songs of the Mozart of Madras. If I get down to creating one, my list would be endless. Still trying my best, here are my favorites:

1. Lukka Chhuppi

This is the ultimate song. Lata Mangeshkar and AR Rahman make a  legendary combination. It has a classical as well as contemporary tone to it.

1. Kun Faaya Kun

Nothing spells peace like this one. It is a soulful melody for occasions when you feel low.

1. Dil se

Rahman top 10 list cannot be complete without this. Talking about the music, Vishal Dadlani said he had to listen to this song 72 times to actually  understand the layers and instruments used.

Amazing song from Bombay.
