Songs that caught my eye...

Songs and music have always been an integral part of BOLLYWOOD films, and if picturised well they are like an icing on the cake.We tend to watch some films again and again just for the way some songs were treated or picturised on screen, also there are songs which do not sound great musically but they are picturised so well, that we start liking the song too.I also have loved many songs for the way they have been  presented on screen and here i'll list out some of those songs.

10.MANGALYAM(SAATHIYA).i just adore the picturisation of this song, where RANI and VIVEK marry secretly in  mandir in the presence of their friends.Very cute and romantic. The feel of the song is very good, for one moment after watching the song I felt one should get married in this way only.

9.DOLA RE DOLA(DEVDAS).i'ld rate this as one of the best choreographed songs of hindi cinma.SAROJ KHAN gave some splendid steps to MADHURI DIXI and AISHWARYA RAI.and they both performed it beautifully. To see both these artist dance togther is a treat to anyone who loves and appreciates the art of dancing.

8.RADHA KAISE NA JALE(LAGAAN).Again a very well shot song, the choreography was the highlight. The feelings of love and jealousy were very well expressed by the actors, in particular Gracy singh.Very well presented song, the colour, the costumes, everything was perfect.

7.DIL CHAHTA HAI(DCH).after a long time I saw a song where the chemistry between the actors is so good and real.AAMIR KHAN, SAIF ALI KHAN and AKSHAYE KHANNA are a riot in this song and of course the picturesque locales of GOA are a treat to the eyes. One of my favourite song in terms of picturisation.

6.GHAZAB KA HAI DIN(QSQT).What can be a cuter sight then to see the oh-so-chweet pair of AAMIR and JUHI lost in the jungles, finding the way out, and Juhi doing all kinds of mischievious things to attract Aamir's attention?Really one of the cutest picturised songs I have ever seen.

5.MERE AANGNE MEIN(LAWARIS).this is quite an unusual choice but I really enjoyed the picturisation of this song, it is hilarious, with Amitabh Bachchan doing all kind of funny things and enacting the part of'Jiski biwi lambi, choti, moti, gori, kali'brilliantly.

4.ROOP TERA MASTANA(ARADHANA).i just love this song, it is sooooooo romantic and the picturisation is even more great. This song conveys that you need no vulgarity to express your love or romance on screen, only the expressions and body languauge will do, watch RAJESH KHANNA and SHARMILA TAGORE in this song and you will know what I mean.

3.AAIYE MEHARBAAN(HOWRAH BRIDGE).well, any song featuring the ethereal beauty MADHUBALA automatically becomes the best picturised song.Isn't it?Madhubala dancing in the club in this song looks stunning and the way she sways to the tune can race any man's heartbeat.

2.ABHI NA JAYO CHOD KE(HUM DONO).What a lovely song and equally well picturised on the romantic pair of DEV ANAND and SADHANA.I love the old songs coz everything was so well expressed through the eyes and it is this kind of songs which you can watch again and again.

1.WAQT NE KIYA(KAGAZ KE PHOOL).well this song is a gem.GURU DUTT was a reformer with the camera and used light and shade to magical effect .and the way this song was picturised was a proof of this.Visual treat.

So these are a few of the songs I loved for the way they were presented on screen.hope you enjoy reading about them.
