Rafi is the crown less king. Review on Ten Best Male Singers of Bollywood

I have not heard the old classical singers. Hence, my favorites will be from 80's to till date. However, I could never miss Rafi's voice as it used to capture the nation through the Radio stations in 80's: Following is my list of favorite male playback singers:

I. Mohammed Rafi(10/10): Which color would u not find in her voice.lets have a look:

Chahunga main tujhe saanjh savere.(Dard)

Tum mujhe yun bhula na paoge.(Sincerety)

Jhilmil sitaron ka aangan hoga.(Dream)

Chhalkaye jaam aiye aapki aankhon ke naam.(Masti)

Deewana hua baadal., , , (Romance)

Chahe koi mujhe jangli kahe .(Boldness)

Maine tere liye ye jag choda tu mujh ko chod chali.('Hasrat aur Yaas')

Ayi hain baharen mite zulm o sitam.(Pleasure)

My Romance, my grief, my Masti, my pleasure were literally all incomplete till I came to listen to the Master voice.

ii. Kishore Kumar(9/10):

I like his voice becoz he was the voice of my favorite actor Amitabh Bachchan.and his songs for Amitabh were awesome.filled with intensity, 'Josh' and prestige.

Lets look at some of those:

Pyar me dil pe maar de goli lele meri jaan.(full of passion and eagerness)

Manzilen apni jagah hain raaste apni jagah.('Gambhir')

De de pyar de.(Jubilant)

iii.Kumar Sanu(8.5/10):

Kumar Sanu welcomes u to an entire world of Romance and Ashiqui.with his refreshing voice.

His numbers from Ashiqui still look to me as though they have been released in the present year.

Then, he becomes the very sad, physically disabled and sensitive Sanjay Dutt in

'Mera dil bhi kitna paagal hai.'

Those were the golden days of self less Love, Romance and dreams in Indian Music history.

With Nadeem Shravan, his melodious songs are a TREAT to listen to.

Pls look at few'hall of fame' songs:

'Tere dar par sanam chale aye.'

'Dil jigar nazar kya hai.'

'Sambhala hai maine.'

iv.Udit Narayan(8/10): I love to listen to the original and natural voices. Udit is one of these.

I listen to Udit in the early morning with the sun rise and love the simplicity in his voice.

He doesnt try hard to render a song. He just does that with his natural ability and that appeals masses.

He was the voice of Amir Khan and Shahruq khan in their Romantic movie innings.

'Dil to paagal hai.'

'Kuch kuch hota hai.'

'Mehndi laga ke rakhna.'

'Na jane kahan dil kho gaya.'

He sang for all major actors in 90's and till 2005.

v. Sonu Nigam(7.5/10):

There are various types of Sonu Nigam. i.e., Sonu Nigam's voice is a versatile voice and he can sing different songs in different ways.

When I listen to

Jeene ke hain chaar din. I dont feel much impressed. but when I listen to other styles of Sonu.

'Kismat se tum hum ko mile ho.'

'Khamoshiya gungunane lagi.'

'Ishq hasata hai. ishq rulata hai.'

I became his fan.That he can be so different in a song than another song.my God. To list a few other favorite singers.

vi. Mohd Aziz and the favorite song to list at the moment is'Main pyar ka pujari'.

vii. Shabbir Kumar and the pick of the songs is'Parbaton se aaj'.

viii. Sukhwinder Singh and the favorit song'Lagan lagan lag gayi hai.'

ix. I heard Mukesh in kabhi kabhi mere dil me khayal aata hai. voice is awesome

x. Bala subramaniam was great in Maine pyar kiya, Hum aapke hain kaun and Saajan.
