It is a great article about the best malayalam films. But I am not sure why the film Chanakyan has come in this list. May be coz I have never seen that movie.. Will try to watch it. Some more additions in that list would be
- Commissioner , which set a big trend of police stories and made Suresh Gopi a superstar. It was also one of the biggest hits in malayalam.
Famous dialog: "Ormayundo ee mukham"
- Meesa madhavan , which is a story in a remote village. Dilip established himself as a superstar with this film.
Famous dialog: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. ayyo ente 5 varsham poi..
- Aaram Thampuran : Again, a royal touch portrayed by Mohanlal. Also some excellent performances by Manju Warrier and Odivil.
Famous dialog: Sangeetham padikkanamenna mohavumayi ethiyathu oru simhathinte madayil...
4.Rajamanikyam : Mammootty was simply stunning in the movie. The slang used by his character in this film (typical south TVM slang) was the core of the film's comedy. Full credit goes to Mammootty
Famous dialog: Yezhuthi vangeeredei yevante sthavaraom jangamom ellam..Thalle moda theerunnillallo....
