MATHILUKAL. Review on Ten Best Malayalam Movies

Adoor was the name of the place few years back. Now also it is. However One person changed the definition of that word. Adoor. Nowadays Adoor is the name of a person who published the word malayalam films in the world of westerns. This pune FTII passout has handfull of good movies of his own.Among that the names Mathilukal is the one title which has been glitering since its release. Suggestion is mathilukal has to be considered as the syllabus for film students.

Reason why am i saying so is, this film dealt with different challenges which other directors faced at that time, however Mathilukal came forward with high level of charge and smashed all the challenges,  it had during it's creation period. The only reason for that is the man behind this creation has got such a boundless perseverance to  break all those. Mathilukal had a different dimension , when its theme has been adopted from Basheer's Novel. At any rate , it managed to stand with unique facet on screen only due to its raw possibility in society. Writter Basheer had been gone through different level of experience. Thats why this film has a realistic presence still in the society.

Mathilukal,  has got only one wall in the film in between the two characters. However director had fruitfully managed to bring the theme by applying symbolic way of shooting. The artist's preliminary responsibility was only to move the character, from it dead alignment . Mamootty , Murali, karamana, azeez, thilakan krishnan kutty nair and all. Director had experimentaly moved a charector to it's live-life by applying a familiar actress's voice for that unseen charector. This sort of treatment of story has to be recognised as tool for future.

Lets go back to some other movies. When I mentioned the word go back, I meant Mathilukal is still far forward from other movies. If you look at the actor's profile, Mammooty had been doing the sterio type charectors , for a while. Everybody had a doubt, why adoor casted him as basheer. The reply was only Mammootty's performance in Mathilukal. He fractured himself into another platform of acting by Perfectionising BAHSEER in it.  Another astonishment of this movie is its slow pace. Till that time people had a concept that movie cann't be created without turning points. This movie replied for all the qualms. Undoubtfully Adoor gave birth for another Immortal artistic creation for all malayalies By creating Mathilukal......
