MY EverGreen Greaties. Review on Ten Best Hindi Music Directors

It is very difficult question to answer the top tem music directors in India Many people may have many depictions based on their interest. If you ask a ordinary villager a lay man he will tell    “Ik  do. teen  char  panch saat aat nau….” From Tejab    but never say yes to tere Bina jindagi me koi sikva nahi .from Aaandhi

I love music in all form .RD was my all time favorite along with SD.

If some body ask me to list the top 10 well let me put it in this was

1)SD Burman

Some people from West- Bangal has got a immense sense of Music. Though Luck hit him late He was one music director with he Immense depth in his songs if it were the songs from Abhiman  or from Bhandani  or Guide, Prem Pujari

The songs Phoolon ke rang see is the one song which has got the biggest  “Mukada”  in Hindi Till now

Some quick numbers that I would suggest is

“Megha Cahyee aadhi raath “,

"Jalte hai jis ke liye "

“Rula ke gaya sapna mera “

2)RD Burman

I Was in a confusion whether to put RD or SD on the Top So based on the Indian Culture I gave SD one stand higher   RD was a  experimental music directors who was inspiration to many young directors like Jatin-lalit  .He is my all time personal favorite He touched all types of songs    jazals, Dance melody you name it anything .He was   actually not fully recognized when he was alive .” A mans worth is known after his death “  Here there in no point in listing my  favorite numbers You name it I like it almost 90%

3)OP Nayyar

Here is one music director who had made his own style so visible that just by hearing the songs we can judge it was none other than OP Nayyar .He had a alcoholic touch in his songs a special type of intoxication a sound of a violin dipped in Honey  .Asha’s sound(borrowed partly from Geetha Dutt) was truly exploited by OP saab. Kasmir ki kali

Song like “ Anko se uteri hai dil me ”, Yeh hai reshmi zulpho  He always kept his style He dint really experiment with his style

4) llayaraja

The legend from south .When every one was eager to make a mark in Bollywood .Raja sir didn’t bother to look to Bollywood Yes but his songs were still had a presence through our own copy cats Anand Millind .He totally ruled Down south for at least 25 years. His quality was along with quantity. .Kalyan Ji Anadji and illaraja used to swap songs .Neele Neele Ambar Pe is Raja’s orjinal tune “Illya Nilla”    Total grip on carnatic he is a true legend

5)Shanker-Jaykishan

They can be called the Instant hit makers .The number of Hits they have given can be matched by any music directors .If we take a film only 2 or 3 songs would be catchy .But SJ used to make all songs to a very high standard and very catchy .The nuber of filim fare award around 9 would the highest  by any music directors.   Naddem -Sravan had a similar start in Hindi But didn’t sustain .

                I cant stop commenting on Bappi Lahari .Even though he look stupid he is not that Waste .He has given some memorable numbers . He was the AR Rahman of 80s .don’t take it literally the Disco era stared with him.Some songs like “Chalet Chalte “ Mana ho tum Behad haseen “ Jab deep jale aana jab shaam dale jaana“ Songs from Namakharam .

These are my list of music directors .I wont change my views what ever happen. If these are the my list of favorites music directors then there is also a Some music directores whom I don’t like at all .Who were/are in the industry without any talent or just because of hype
