Let me read your mind first! I can see various types of motives that attracted readers to this review!

1. First Timers at Mouthshut:'This review seems to another marketing technique adopted by the FMCG companies to have a bunch of fools to buy their overpriced, overhyped, useless product. Anyway, how much it costs?'

2. Sincere readers at Mouthshut: The crap keeps coming back despite of whatever u do! Earlier it was some devil and its variants. This guy is now offering three devils? Let me rate it SU or NU!

3. The people who have decided to stay put at this point:Let me see and comment. Let me derive some meaning out of what Aditya has written.

Let me play the Manmohan Singh here satisfying the three different classes supporting him. The Congress, the Communists and Laloos!

Review No. 1: For the First Timers at Mouthshut

The Duets generaly signify one female and one male singing love songs together. My fellow writers at MS have already done a  great justice to this topic. I take this opportunity in lising out some nice duets that are pleasure to ur ears.

1. Mein aur meri Tanhaai(Silsila): Engrossing and soulful Amitabh narrating his feelings about love with that heavenly playback of Lata corresponding to what AMitabh is saying. Listen this song while u r alone with ur beloved, hold his/her hand and enjoy the ultimate tranquility.

2. Ye tera ghar ye mera ghar(Saath-Saath): Farookh Shaikh and Deepti Naval acting this wonderful track sung by Kuldeep Singh and Chitra Singh. This is another wonderful track celebrating living with ur beloved in ur own sweet ghosala which * Magar ye ghar ajib he, jameen ke karib he, ye eet-patharon ke ghar, hamari hasraton ka ghar *! I bet, after listening to this song tour bonding with ur beloved and ur home will grow multi-fold.

3. Jaane kyun log pyar karte hein(Dil Chahate hein): Amir Khan looking young as ever making masti with the'perky' Preity Zinta will make you go inmasti mood with your beloved in your living room while watching it on the TV or on the beach when u r sharing the headfones on a quite morning!

A duet is that type of song which is not only sung well but picturised well too! The wordings do count to some extent, but they do not matter when they are written to suit the tune already composed by the music director.

A dut is something which is best sung when two people sing the song together. Not necessarily they have to be female-male. Male-male or female-female can also form the duet song. I will although not touch upon this aspect here.

4. Mere Jeevan sathi(Ek dooje ke liye): Who says that creativity is the forte of the advertising people. The song writer has made an excellent duet where the song is comprised of titles of hindi movies. Kamal Hasan and Rati Agnihotri have enacted this song wonderfully. A tamil guy who hardly knows Hindi expressing his love to his hindi speaking love with the help of the titles of hindi movies was an epitome of creativity. Although, the lady sings for a few time compared to SP Bala, but our criteria is of two souls singing together. Isnt it?

5. Jaane kaise kab kahan(Shakti): Amitabh and Smita Patil narrating beautifull the feelings of falling in love. *'Gulshan bani galiyan sabhi, ful ban gayi kaliyan sabhi' *! This song from Shakti is perfectly one of the better piece of song writing crafted with superb music!

6. Hum dil de chuke sanam(Hum Dil de chuke Sanam): This duet is absolutely paisa vasool! Absolutely a emotion filled intense song where the actors playing on the screeen are not really singing the song. Kavita Krishnamurthy has sung this song in her usual intensity and Aishwarya has enacted it too wonderfully. This is what I the duet but the parting duet!

Review No. 3: For the people who are waiting for some crap from me!

Actually, I wanted to title this review as' Duets! R they meant for heterosexuals only'! But later I remembered of the hue and cry that is made everytime people speak of anything about sex. Can't duets be sung by two males or two females expressing their love?

-

Duets for Veer-Romeo, Zaara-Shiri and him-her

-

7. Kaaten nahi katate ye din ye raat(Mr. India): This is one the most erotic song ever picturised in Hindi movies before Mallikas and Bipashas arrived on the scene. Anil Kapoor teasing his bhabhi'jaan' on the screen being invisible while the rain is relentlessly pouring over bhabhi jaan. Alisha Chinoy and Kishor Kumar at their best!( While watching Judaai featuring the same pair, one tapori yelled from the background when Anil Kapoor hugs Sridevi'Abe kamine, bhabhi maa samaan hoti he. Saale, bhabhi ko chhod de')

8. Ye dosti hum nahi choodenge(Sholay): Amitabh, Dharmenda singing about their love, their friendship, kasmen to stay together for life till death do us apart! I mean duets need not between the male and female and need not be about their love, affection and internal bonding.

9. Woh thi hum the, aur sama rangeen(Chalti ka naam gadi): Can't a brother sing with his brother and can't this song be a duet? Kishor Kumar singing with his real brother as well as screen brother Anup Kumar and telling him how he pataved a girl. On the other side Anup is asking * Mannu tera hua ab mera kya hoga?

10. Tu hi re(Bombay): I can't leave this song out of the best 10 duets by any chance and by whatever chance. Wonderful picturisation, beautiful wordings and Manisha-Arvind showing the feelings profoundly! Sung by Hariharan and Kavita.

I think this song is a treasure to cherish! A treat for ur eyes, ears and heart!

So, people I hope u have enjoyed Ek ka teen Offer!

PS: Ek baar becha hua maal vapas nahi liya jayega!
