HTML is the acronym for Hyper Text Narkup Language. It is not case-sensitive.
HOW TO WRITE A PROGRAM IN HTML: There are two ways.
Using the EDIT option from the DOS prompt, or
Using Notepad, which is generally preferred.
HOW TO SAVE A HTML PROGRAM:
Click on "Save as" option from the "File" menu.
Give the file name and type the extension as ".htm" or ".html"
The location for saving could be anywhere but generally save it on the desktop owing to flexibility.
HOW TO RUN:
After saving a program on desktop, Internet Explorer icon could be seen with the file name given just underneath it.
Double-click on it.
The program will run.
HOW TO EDIT:
While still on the Internet Explorer page, right-click the mouse.
Select "View Source" option and click on it.
The notepad will open the program code where in changes can be made.
HTML PROGRAMMING:
Every program in HTML is confined to a set of tags.
Each tag must be inserted between "
