It is special blend of Tetley to cater Indian market. This is a blend of Assam and Sri Lankan teas for flavour and colour to make it unique.

The packaging is in blue and gold rectangular box with a plastic flip-top cap. This international brand created to suit Indian consumers comes in the 250g and 500g packs. Tetley tea is also available in tea bags and it’s the second largest brand selling tea bags in the world.

Price is very competitive considering the quality. Maximum Retail Price is Rs. 58 per 250 gm pack. Due to its quality, price and packing it has become number two brand in Indian market.

In India Tetley is blended and packed at Indore (MP) by a company named a White Cliff Tea Pvt. Ltd.

My Preference

According to one interview of Tea Board Members in a TV Channel, Indians consume two million kg of tea per day. Tea is consumed in many different ways in all parts of this country. However my preferred way is take some tealeaf on a strainer placed on a cup. Pour very hot water on it and collect the liquor in the cup. One can soak tealeaf on hot water for sometime to get strong liquor. I do not prefer to add sugar and milk. One may add milk and sugar in it.
