Bought a Safari Dicor in Feb this year. Excellent experience so far with the vehicle. have traveled quite a lot on long journeys. Very comfortable and stable. Hasn’t let me down so far. Looks great
and makes you feel safe while driving.

Reversing is a bit of a problem. The spare tire covers a lot of the rear view. Have installed parking sensors for about Rs.3000.

Fuel economy is about 9.5kmpl in city and 11 on long trips. This is good for a huge vehicle but could have been better.

I wouldn’t recommend this car for people who live or travel in areas where there is a crunch of parking space. This car does require a lot of space!

Heard a lot about problems of knocking/vibrating. No such problem if driving over 1500 RPM (that’s when the turbo kicks in).

Bad experiences with dealers. Right from the time of buying the car to servicing. I had to remind them of things they need to cover in the first service. You’d expect better service even from roadside mechanics.

Purchase Price (INR): 785000 on road
Dealer Name and City: Autolink, Delhi
Model Year: 2007
