Both Tata sky and Airtel are the major DTH service provider in India both of them have almost similar software and hardware configuration. As per customer service I considered Airtel have edge over tata sky, they provides much better customer service.
As per channels are considered both have almost equal number of channels but when its comes to HD channels Tata sky(75+) have more channels as compared to Airtel(60+)
The picture quality of both are almost similar .During rough weather tata sky provides much better service as compared to Airtel.
The biggest benefit you will have after buying Airtel is that whenever you restart your setup box you will get started from the channel where you have left but in tata sky you will start from channel no.100, which is quite irritating.
Tata sky and. Airtel recharge plans are almost similar but in Tata sky you get more options to manage plans as per you need. So choose your DTH service as per you need!
