We have owned a Tata Safari Dicor since 2008. Soon after purchase I returned the car to the dealers - the clutch was behaving like a very old clutch. The dealer'bled' it and said the problem had been dealt with. Well it hadn't been dealt with and within a few months the clutch failed and had to be replaced. It has been replaced yearly ever since.
In case you are tempted to think it is my driving skills or lack of it, we have an older car - the clutch has never been replaced! The electronics is aweful - nearly all windows don't function well, doors can't be opened.if ever there is need to'regulate' car quality, Tata Safari makes the case. We made an error when we purchased it! Simply stay away from it.and perhaps anything Indian!
