I had purchased the Tata nano twist in June, 2015, and the car is just giving 11.5 km per litre, where as their manual says 24km/liter, and a jerky drive in forward gear 1& 2. I complained to Tata customer care, and they adviced their local dealer concord motors to take the car for analysis.
The vehicle was taken to workshop four times, and last time for a week, and I am sorry to state that there is no improvement what so ever. The local dealer says in present traffic condition, it will give this mileage and on jerky drive they say it is a design feature.with this remark.
I fail to understand how they expect to sell this 624 cc and 2 stroke car, other automatic cars with higher cc in same road condition are giving higher mileage and smooth drive. People who are planning to buy this car, please think it over as this car is not that cheap and on road, it is costing 3.5, you will get a better car if you put in some more money.
There is no resale value for Tata nano.if you want a bumpy drive and tension while driving you can go for this car.
