It was high time when TATA stopped all gyaan and give some Dyaan to customers which they have seem to done for TATA NANO Twist.
Tata is been there for a long time and when it was launched on 2008 it was suppose to bring a revolution in the Small car market. Tata Nano bubble also busted without any boom. SInce 2008 Tata has been working really hard on getting the NANO working and bringing to more and more customer but still the response was not as expected.
Nano was always known for its leg room and powerful AC
This time around TATA seemed to listen to the customers requirement and they came up with NANO twist which has a Luggage space/ New grill / New Interiors with a new dashboard which comes with Music system with Bluetooth connectivity. NANO comes in Automatic gears called AMT.
I took a test drive, Yes what Iam reading it is true where it has a excellent leg room, it is small but powerful, it easily catches 60km/hr speed in no time and then taking a u turn is like dream come true for a car, it has a very very small turning radius. It has a excellent head room as well for tall people. Power window also seem to work just fine.
It is quite comfortable it only there are 4 passengers, if you add a 5th at the back it will really be very congested.
When you are driving NANO, although it is a small car but feels like you are driving a big car but when you try to push that pedal no really do not respond at the higher gears, eventually it will catch the speed bit peppiness of the Engine is not there.
So when to look at the new TATA NANO twist, you like to have one of those cause of its appeal, colour and also the new Smiley grill that it has.
But again all boils down to if it is the car, answer is not cause if he fetch few more bucks there are many cars with more power and features.
Diogori motors(Andheri west) who are the Authorized dealers for TATA cars will themselves advise to go for another car than NANO, so you understand what faith they themselves have on their own product.
