This place truly shows that god actually exists.a person will actually give up for life when one listens about cancer.It bring drastic changes in the life of patient and the family like financially, pain wise, that too tree wont bear any fruits.
Basically TMH has four blocks viz.Golden Jubilee building, Annexe building, Main building, Homi Bhabha block.Patients initially gets a file which segregate him into a category like general, semi-private or private and accordingly he/she needs to do the payment that too through a TMH card(cashless).Infrastructure is just amazing like the hospital don't lack even a single thing.Poor people from small villages to richest NRI's both get treated on the same grounds.Cheap camteen food to the Taj Caferteria, CT scan and PET scan from 8K to 25K all are available.The thing is rich people pay for the poors.Chemotherapy, Radiation and Surgery everything that too under guidance of top class Oncologists with 25 yrs of experience.They help people in the matters like food problem, accomodation that even the poorest can afford.Medicines at 10%of Man.this is truly helping hands.i just salute them that what kind of work these people are doing.!
I would strongly recommend to visit TMH if one gets cancer.
