It's take too courage to buy a tata cars in today's time. Tata indigo is one of the car for Indian buyers that they can afford but it's poor ride quality doesn't impress the Indian buyers. Let's talk about it's deisel engine which gives 1396 cc of horse power at 69 power of bhp. It's quite enough for acceleration but have reserve power which doesn't give better pickup. Mileage in city is 23 kmpl and on highways it's 25 kmpl. Tata indigo is a 4 cylinder 1.4 litre CR4 deisel engine front wheel drive with manual transmission.
On the basis of safety it doesn't have ABS system, EBD system, door ajar warning, passenger airbag and engine immobilizer. Safety gadgets are not available from base to top model indigo car.
Let's talk about the interior and looks of the car. It is quite impressive that the plastic quality is better than the others. It has good window lines and the centre console is also good but it provides the cup holder on the glove box tray instead of middle console. The time piece is perfect and there is enough space for things. On outside it can be better but on this price segment it is great. The seat are comfortable but you cannot adjust the height of driver seat. The car priced at 6.09 lacs ex-showroom Delhi. I would not recommend this car to buy. Hope you take the right decision. Thanks.
