Short summary: Do not use this service. If in a remote area with no other broadband option, use a 3g dongle or the new Airtel 4g dongle. They will both cost you the same or less and will have Much more reliable service.
There was no other broadband option when I first shifted to Hinjewadi, Pune.
For the first 3 months, the internet used to work on and off, mostly when I restarted the router a few times. It would then work for 30 minutes or so before I had to repeat the process.
Since the week before I received my last bill, my internet connection has been down.(This is now week 6) Over the course of that month, I filed 8 complaints with their phone customer service. They would assure me an engineer would come and fix the issue within 48 hours.
48 hours later, there was no engineer. When I called back customer care they tell me, "The engineer has listed down the issue as a problem with your cables." How could an engineer possibly know the issue was with my cables when he never visited my house, never checked the modem and did not even bother to call to understand the issue?
7 more complaints later, I was absolutely frustrated and decided to disconnect the service. I mailed their customer care, explaining the issues I had faced and that I had not received service from them for over a month and wanted to disconnect.
Their response? "We will generate your bill for this cycle. Your request number for disconnection is # "
