I am using Tata Indica offered to me by my office since last 1 year or so. No doubt that the car is good in fuel economy but comfort wise it's a disaster. It's so noisy and dusty inside one is ought to suffocate even with full windows covered up and packed.
Even the driving experience is horrible. It takes extra effort and push to keep it moving. Seating arrangement is satisfactory and enough leg room is also provided but still it's not comfortable enough and leaves your back aching like anything after a long journey.
Being a diesel car it requires a lot of mentainance and service cost is on the higher side.
If you want to hire a driver to drive you may go with this car for commercial purposes like tours , travels and taxi. But for self driving experience it's a big No.
As I mentioned earlier it takes effort to drive this steel box and keeps you engaged all through your journey.
AC is not so effective especially for rear seats and it becomes too hot for some one seating on the rear seats.
It comes with alloy wheels, so I would recommend to get tubeless tyres to those thinking to use this as taxi.
Servicing of the vehicle is too costly and most of the time even tata dealerships do not have the required minute parts like clutch cylinder kit.
Only meant for commercial purposes and driver driven .
