Hi everyone
This is my personal experience which I had while speaking to the Customer care service provided my the MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS WING-PROTECTOR OF EMIGRANTS OFFICE TOLL FREE SERVICE. Though there are various languages available for the people to select, when I had a conversation in tamil after choosing the Tamil option, I understood that the person was not fluent in tamil language and he was struggling to answer my questions in tamil and I was forced to make repeated calls to them to get the details which I badly needed for one of my friends regarding the EMIGRATION PROCESS.
Though there is rating system available, it won't solve the urgent needs, as people would be frustrated and annoyed if they don't get the problem solved immediately. After that I opted for ENGLISH and got the relevant information needed from other C.C executive. I am not sure whether TCS employees are associated with it, but I hope people from their organisation might be associated with it, as such in PASSPORT office here in Tirunelveli and other offices here in Tamilnadu. So the concerned authorities kindly make amends to make the TOLL FREE SERVICES of P.O.E office helpline USEFUL AND VIABLE FOR THE CITIZENS OF INDIA . HOPE THE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES ACT SWIFTLY AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTION FOR MAKING IT FRUITFUL.
