I was hoping this movie was going to be something like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom which I loved. Unfortunately, this is not even 10% of the movie JBJ was. You could see glimpses of what the director was going for -irreverent post modern noir caper buddy comedy road film(!), but the result was such a hodge podge that I lost interest after 30 mts and spent the next 2 hours cellphone watching( checking the time !)

For a supposed fast paced movie ,this one CRAWLED!!
The UP Bhaiya Chic has run its course I am afraid.
I will make this brief, since I am still suffering from PTSD-Post Tashan Stress Disorder!

The acting:
Anil Kapoor was a ham. Saif , Kareena and Akki could’nt redeem the horrible script.

The IShtyle:
Non existent , Who gave Saif the idea that a molester mustache was appealing ? Kareena was too skinny for her own good, you need some meat on those bones girl. And her attempts to do Uma Thurman from Kill Bill were hilarious to say the least! Akki’s white beard was most revelatory and Anil Kapoor’s red hair got tiresome.

The Plot:
Non existent , hare brained,dead on arrival.

The Screenplay:
Ditto above, the hinglish by anil kapoor was funny for precisely 0.3 seconds, then it got old and FAST! Infact, Rani’s hinglish in Saawariya was way funnier!

The Editing:
Badly paced, too many flashbacks. Especially the flashback tracks between Gudiya and Bachan Pande was overdone .The climax went on for AGES-the most boring climax I have seen in a while.

The Directing:
Moronic, amateurish

The Music:
Not one song I remember, the one love song between Akki and Kareena was mildly appealing, but not a soundtrack will I be downloading anytime soon!

In conclusion, this is one movie people should avoid watching at all cost in the interest of their sanity.

Its a movie to be watched with friends on a DVD where you can laugh AT the movie, not WITH it.
