Tashan : Style, out of league, show-off, a Punjabi word. Well that is what it means in North India. So…did the latest Bollywood movie released last weekend, manage to impress, I would say ‘may be

…I think so’.

Tashan is a perfect blend of comedy, action & twist. If you don’t employ your brains, then may be, you will enjoy it. The movie scores high on Tashan (style), glamour and non-stop action.

Anil Kapoor as kanpuri bhaiya has done a great job. Watch out his Hinglish (Hindi-English mix). Kareena has slim down beyond recognition. Actually she is looking hot and attractive. Fortunately she has not done any over-acting. Saif has also done well and is looking good. Akshay Kumar is Bachaan Pandey in the movie, a local goon from U.P. He delivers again; a power packed performance and will entertain you like he always does. All three of them, Saif, Kareena and Akshay share a good chemistry. The movie is very colorful. Outdoor shootings particularly scenes from Laddakh (not sure if it was Laddhakh or any other foreign country) look stunning. Music given by Vishal is impressive as numbers are catchy. The costumes in numerous songs will sure impress you.

In this complete nonsense movie Tashan, Director has managed to put some twist and drama too. There is a bit of drag at the end, but you would not mind in the over all scheme of play. The style and delivery of this film is impressive. Overall, a funny and complete time-pass movie. I am happy to rate it as 3 on 5 stars.
