Stunned to see the rating? Well, After watching the movie I too was in the similar situation. Now, As a viewer, from the promos I expected a lot of action, comedy and alas entertainment. Tashan fails in
everything. Let me make it very clear Tashan is an awful attempt of making a spoof in Indian cinema of early and late 70s.
Talking about the story, Pooja(Kareena), who works for Bhaiyajee(Anil Kapoor), who is a whodunit villan! is learning english from Jimmy(Saif), meanwhile there is a love story developing between Pooja and Jimmy. Soon, Pooja, with the help of Jimmy robs Bhaiyajee of Rs. 25 Crores and disappears. Bhaiyajee appoints Bachchan Pande(Akshay) (No Y) to catch these two.
YEAH THATS IT!! Arrrgh!
Now, what Tashan offers is mindless situations, imitating all the fantacy characters moves and just creating fun of anything usless and everything not so useless. Hopeless situations, confusing dialouges...!!
I went for this movie thinking of Akshay and his role. HAHA! let me make it clear.. The movie belongs to nobody! Performaces are good Akshay and Anil will manage in tickeling in your funny bones but they are troughout repetitive. Kareena, Worst performance of her career!! Saif? What dancing! kill yourself.. or ask Saif to learn dance. Fine performance. Other characters are good. The fat guy (Dont know his name) was brilliant..
Music was good at the least. It keeps you engrossed through out. Colouring is too bad.. Its too depressing! Cameras are good.
In the end, Tashan is really a loser at the end of the day. Really over hyped for god knows what!! If you still want to watch it... Go waste your 160 minutes.
