The wait is finally over. Here is a treat for all marrieds and wholesome entertainment for rest of the world. Marrieds will be able to relate and love the first 15 minutes.

Story: Four years in London was long enough for a married Tanu(Kangana) to realize that post marriage romance did not meet her expectations. She finds Manu(Madhavan) boring & unromantic and regrets leaving Raja(Jimmy Shergill). Been there? Tanu and Manu decide to visit a Mental Assylum for counseling where Manu fails to control his emotions and gets detained. Tanu returns to her home in India fancying her chances with Raja again. Manu is released from the Mental Assylum and also returns to India with the intent to divorce Tanu. Meanwhile he comes across Tanu’s lookalike ‘Kusum’ aka ‘Datto’(Kangana) – an aspiring athlete from Haryana. He falls for her and stalks her along with Pappi(Deepak Dobriyal). Chintu(Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) who is a tenant in Tanu’s house and studying law, but now also a good friend of Tanu, sends out a divorce notice to Manu who is provoked and hence determined to marry Kusum. He succeeds in convincing Kusum’s parents and the wedding preparations are on in full swing. Tanu wants to witness the wedding and supports the preparations along with Raja. The climax is predictable and finally all’s well that ends well.

Oops: The big mole on Kangana’s neck was strikingly visible on the double role characters which the careless crew failed to cover up.

Cast: It was Kangana Ranaut show all the way. She needs double applause for executing a dual role to perfection especially the Haryanvi. Madhavan looked purposeful. Jimmy Shergil maintains his intimidating character of Raja and Deepak Dobriyal is very effective doing comedy.

Plot: The script is well written with complementing dialogues. The plot did have some drawbacks, such as the lead pair visiting a Mental Assylum to find a solution to their turbulent marriage. Manu and Raja liking the same girl the second time. Pappi’s one sided infatuation which was a time waster. Tanu’s flings with Raja and yet feeling remorse to suit the climax seemed superficial. However, the rollercoaster plot was successful in keeping you engaged and entertained till the end.

Songs: My pick of the songs were ‘Move On’, ‘Mat Ja Re’ and ‘Old School Girl’ - the music & lyrics were brilliant and suited the occasion. ‘Ghani Bawri’ was unnecessary and an unwanted insert which spoiled the mood that the movie had set till then. The vocal was too heavy & loud suitable only for a Vamp and not the character of Tanu.

Conclusion: An Award will be soon coming Kangana’s way. The direction of Anand Rai is aptly supported by the cast. The movie is highly recommended, fully worth the investment of your time & money and a must watch for one and all – especially marrieds.
