Hi! I live in Borivali (W), and have a branch of Talwalkar’s (donno which group) opposite my residence, it was indeed very exciting
to have it right across the road..... but my excitement was shortlived.
Soon after joining in August’06 I had got a severe allergy attack (since I’m allergic to dust) and was indisposed for a couple of weeks..... soon after recovery I resumed my workouts... and fell ill again in February’07... then in May’07 and everytime it was the same cause.... ’dust’ the reason for joining a gym was primarily avoid the dusty environment outside and workout in controlled conditions....
All my protests to the trainers and manager of this branch have fallen on deaf ears because they don’t seem to have the guts to restrain some patrons, my estimate is 40% of the patrons don’t have any sense of hygeine and workout in shoes that they walk into the gym, since October’07 I have skipped the gym routine and have escaped the allergy attacks which had effected my business..... I am now contemplating asking for a refund of my membership....
I wouldn’t recommend anybody joining too.
