Originally I am a mechanical engineer, i know about bykes, i bought this vehicle since TVS offered more value for my old Samurai, now I feel I should have retained it.In terms of outlook and budget it is the best choice as it's looks is minty cool(Pulsar & CBZ combo).Red and flurosent colour with Teflon coating(avaiable in showroom with 480 bugs extra- optional) make it majestic and sexy.!
Another positve is the service there was fuel guauge problem & I registered complaint in TVS official website they called to my mobile and had me take the byke to a service showroom corrected the problem with smile, apologised for inconvinence at FREE OF COST, Service Rocks if you go through right media.
However when talking about the performance one of the pathetic byke as the road grip is "0" as like other TVS-Suzuki Bykes since the distance and angles are not proper between the engine and front wheel, i still wonder TVS being a such a big company never correct their mistakes as this being a long term complaint, when u apply brakes (either back or front).the bykes dances folk, rock and Rap in roads. This makes the machine safeless.
Fuel consumption is an another controversy, when you check main to main milege rocks to 50 -55 but when you ride your byke in reserve to reserve the milege is less than 40.(!).so recommeded for people who can afford to have full tank always.
Performace - in picking up from a signal, my byke lost the contest with discover, unicorn and fazer as they were far ahead of me.
But though u give me 5 crores still i will never give my(piece) byke as he is a luckyboy for me, but if you ask me can I go for GLX here is my suggestion
If you dont care about performance and your life, just the fantasy with limited budget - Best choice
If you want true value for your money, better performace and safeguard your head -Heavensake "NO"
