Very much tvs. Review on TVS Victor GLX

Introducing the all new tvs victor glx.well this bike is in the newly rising 125 cc segment.this segment is becoming really competitive with 5 models already present and more to come.how good is the glx?

most of you might be thinking it is the victor with a different engine.but it is much more refined and mature than the victor gl.in all departments it is typically tvs.looks,performance,fuel efficiency,etc.in comparision with the competition it is very conservative.that is it about the bike.

the glx looks very much like the f2 in the front(fairing).it is no doubt from the tvs family.it gets a tinted screen and has dual color graphics on both sides of the fairing.in the side there are so many stickers and it is really flashy.it is available in many colors but none of them look exceptional.the other bikes here are more elegant.the rear tail lamp looks like a blend of the f2's and passion's tail lamp.it is quite okay.i don't know about others but this bike is styled to look very conservative. -8/10

as I told you it has a 125 cc engine.power is nothing to write home about(just 10 bhp)many bikes in this segment give 10.5+ bhp.but 10 bhp is not low,definitely not.the engine is a vt-i engine.this engine is not a very good performer.the fazer and discover are very quick and the glx is at times slower than them by more than a second.0-60 kmph comes in just less than 7 seconds.0-80 takes more than 12 seconds.the fazer does this in 5.xx seconds and 9.5 seconds respectively.i read that the discover was even quicker.the glx can be called an average performer.but this performance is enough for city driving.power comes at a higher level in the rev range.top speed is close to 105 kmph.-

7/10 the department in which tvs always scores is fuel efficiency.even the glx is very efficient.it gives almost 70 kmpl on the highway!in the city it gives around 60 kmpl.that is commendable.so whatever the victor glx fails in doing,it succeeds in giving good fuel efficiency which is what most indian customers want.-9.3/10

now if you want to live in the fast lane with a bike that gives heart stopping performance then you should look elsewhere.the victor glx is a bike that is very suitable for calm relaxed riding in the city,keeping your hands away from your wallet for most of the time.it gives very good value for your money.at 53000 rupees it has a disk brake,fuel gauge,tacho,engine killer switch,etc.so this bike gives average or maybe below average performance,looks and power but definitely is suitable for the average indian citizen.7.5/10

mind you it is not the only bike that is suitable.the bajaj discover dtsi is supposed to give amazing performance(faster than 150 cc bikes!)(???faster than pulsar???),and is very economical in fuel consumption.

I have recommended this bike,but this is because I HAVE to select yes or no.but I don't know whether I like this bike.up to u.
