its been almost a year now and I m happy with my victorglx I feel in love with it at first sight I went to the showroom took a test ride it was simply amazing and then purchased it its very good the ride comfort is smooth, its has a decent milage and quite easy to handle to in city conditions in heavy traffic.at night the headlight power to is very nice its powerful and very clear its gear shift is smooth and easy to change well all bout this bike is cool all I can say is if ur vehicle is TVS then its not a worry at all coz its really reliable as thats wat I feel TVS VICTOR GLX is really a value for money bike all I can say go for it as I m happy with my bike and hey its victor so it will always be the victor(SMILES FOREVER)!
After 10 years of my purchase, feel it the right time to give the long term review.
Mileage: Still 50+ in City Riding and 60-62 on highways based on my driving and decent speeds of 50-60 KMPH.
Built: Still feels likes the Strong Horse not weakend at all.
Engine: No problems faced yet runs smooth as butter.
Only problems faced are the shock absorbers which needed a change and after doing the same runs smmoth now.
The only con I have faced as per the long term is the pick up which is slow even after tuning the engine, but once the pick up is done speed is decent.
All in all a very good vehicle and value for money. I am happy I made the right decision for going for this bike instead of Discover or Wind.
For all those who need a value for money from the TVS VICTOR GLX all I can say is maintain your vehicle and service it regulary for good performance. For the rain related problem I have also face water entering the engine and fuel tank, the solution is put a zipper cover to the fuel tank cap which covers the same and also purchase a bike cover so when parked you may cover the bike and yes avoid parking the same on the side stand and there the problem is sloved.
For all who own this bike love it, like it, n enjoy it and take care n maintain it for in today's time we dont get bikes like these. I agree in today's time bike have advanced with more features but there is a different charm in these old one's which I still enjoy.
