I am writing review on Suzuki Fiero and my experience with this bike. I bought this bike in 2000 when company launched new and still own this. This was the only wonderful and stylish bike on street in those days and people used to back to me and bike when I used to drive. This angel has completed 1.25L kms and still running strong without any repairs.
I still remember of not letting anyone overtake me on road during those days and none dare to do that. I have used many bikes in between (HH CD100, Pulsar, Splendor, Honda Unicorn, Suzuki GS150R, Bajaj Scooter) and nothing can take it's place. Build quality, ergonomics, style, engine, quality of cables etc used were too good and still today. One of the best part of this bike is butter smooth gear shift I never seen in any bike and do not expect too.
Bike still starts in one kick without raising accelerator even today after 13+ years of use. I don't see any parts rusted including chassis which is good. I have got clutch plate changed to local some time back due to unavailability of original japanese part and rear wheel chain sprocket and battery replacement which are the only repairs bike has undergone.
Road grip is good, handling at high speed is good, gear shift, starting, lighting, engine vibration, silencer noise, no issue with tachometer, fuel gauge, bulbs, indicator etc. To be frank I have only got oil changes and filter in the entire lifetime of vehicle service so far. Overall the best of the best performer, I would still request TVS/Suzuki to reproduce fiero original manufacturing and definitely all other will be left behind.
