Hello Friends, I feel happy to tell you about this TVS STAR CITY. I was in standard 12th when I bought this bike and now also I have this one with me. I shined my college days with this bike with a minimum maintainance charges rather only change filter and oil. Here is what I have felt post using Starcity for long 9 years:
Mileage: Actual 65-70 KM/Litre and company claims 75KM/L which this bike is almost reaching and basically no hard churn in your pocket.
Handling/comfort: Being a lightweight bike, I liked it so much because the handling is very easy and smooth. Handle works as you wish it to be. I went on several long drives on this with one person on back of around 200KM each and this has helped me to reach flawlessly. Thanks to its suspensions which does not jump much on uneasy roads too.
Reliability: Till now, I was never stopped on the way by my Starcity unless there is a tyre puncture.
Looks: No comparison of starcity from the rivals in this category by Bajaj, Hero and Honda. From the front and back both the bike looks sporty and now alloys are also added by TVS to make it more hunky and smart.
If you wish to buy a bike in this budgeted category, undoubtedly go and buy this bike because this matches your every expectation.
